I am a St. Charles County native who has been serving the community as a hairstylist for the past 10 years. Just like you, I too wear many hats and lead a busy life but I understand the importance of refilling my cup at the end of the day by practicing self care. I have always found myself wanting to do things differently in the industry and I have designed my salon studio experience to be a welcoming safe space for all, and for you to leave feeling confident and truly rejuvenated!
In 2021 I took a leap of faith and opened TUFT, a mini salon with big heart. My passion for the service industry and guest experience runs deep, with 10+ years from retail, restaurants and the beauty industry, I can honestly say I have never loved my job more. I specialize in seamless blondes and lived-in color to enhance your natural hair while still remaining low maintenance. While most stylists offer good haircuts and solid color skills, I take great pride in being able to offer the highest quality of care to my guests as to why I work by reservation only and only work with one guest at a time. Every time you sit in my chair, that time is reserved just for you and with advanced color formulation and techniques for modern lived-in color, I am able to create seamless, natural looking color that continues looking beautiful in between visits.
Behind the chair I enjoy having meaningful conversations and making my guests laugh, but I often refer to myself as an 'outgoing introvert.' In contrast to my work I must recharge by spending quiet time at home. On weekends you will typically find me grabbing coffee, connecting with nature on a hike with my husband, Kurtis or relaxing at home with my fur babies, Alice, Gemma and Toothless. I enjoy whipping up and sharing new recipes, binging the latest true crime documentaries and immersing myself in a new book. Every day I am filled with gratitude for a career that has allowed me to meet such wonderful people, have a rare opportunity to connect on such a personal level, and truly see the true beauty in the world.
